Boston Parks Department Announces Free Summer Fitness Series
Those who live in metropolitan cities were among those who experienced the most disruption to their daily routines and lifestyle habits over the past 15 months. In an effort to foster a spirit of health and wellness in 2021, the City of Boston launched the 2021 Boston Parks Summer Fitness Series – a free initiative catered to the interests of city residents. The series will offer 25 free weekly classes both virtually and in 18 City parks from June 6 to October 2. Classes feature of variety of workouts, including Barre, Dance Fit, Yoga (Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Chair, Restorative), HIIT, Family Fitness, Cardio and Core, ZUMBA, Salsa Dancing, Fusion Fit, Strength Training, Cardio Dance, and Carnival Fit.
