Exercise is Booming After ‘Pandemic 15’ Weight Gain
There were many reasons why many people around the world added some unwanted extra pounds in wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. As workout routines were disrupted, gyms closed and isolation set in, healthy habits became harder to sustain. Fortunately, 2021 has ushered in tremendous progress when it comes to personal fitness, according to a recent article from WJON. Story author Kelly Cordes points out that compared to a year ago, “over 59% of those who were not exercising, are now exercising almost three times a week.” Citing a recent study, Cordes also notes that, “People that were exercising at least a couple times a week, have increased their frequency of working out over 125%.” Read more.
