Keeping off excess weight was hard enough before the pandemic, and apparently the safety precautions and quarantining in response to the coronavirus pandemic have only made the endeavor more challenging. In fact, a new study reveals that the stay at home orders and anxiety have contributed to stress eating and idleness – a potent combo for weight gain. The New York Times’ Anahad O’Connor analyzed the findings in a recent article that also featured anecdotal evidence from a man named Stephen Loy, who admitted his healthy habits dwindled in 2020.
