How the COVID-19 Quarantine Changed Michelle Obama’s Workout

Former first-lady Michelle Obama didn’t achieve global celebrity status without overcoming adversity, so it’s no surprise that she’s used the coronavirus pandemic to reinvent her exercise habits. The 57-year-old told People that she used quarantine periods in 2020 to work on her swimming form. Mrs. Obama previously worked out with medicine balls and admits she enjoys to hop on the bike at SoulCycle with her daughters, according to Women’s Health. Encouraging and inspiring people to stay active is one of the best ways public figures can use their high-profile influence to help others. Regardless of her workout routine, Michelle Obama has consistently done a good job of leading by example when it comes to staying physically active.
