New research indicates people are spending more time than ever in gyms. According to a new study conducted by Kantar, a leading marketing research and insights company, in partnership with Zoom Media, the world’s largest gym-based video entertainment network, current dwell time among gym members is up to 88 minutes per visit. That figure is 17% higher than pre-pandemic averages. Moreover, 90% of these workout warriors are tuning into GymTV and 72% of them tried, researched or bought at least one of the products advertised. Of course, marketing to people when they’re feeling good is always a plus. It increases ad effectiveness by up to 40%, and seven out of ten members reported feeling energized or happy during and after their workout. Read more
