Washington D.C. Gyms Reopen Indoor Group Workouts
Residents of the nation’s capital can enjoy the camaraderie of group workouts at their local gyms and health clubs once again. For the first time since the COVID-19 case spike in November, gyms are permitted to resume indoor workouts with up to 10 people (not including the instructor), according to a recent article from Washingtonian. Additionally, outdoor group workouts have been permitted to double in size, rising from the previous cap of 25 people to 50. Mayor Muriel Bowser announced the exciting news just over a year after the initial restrictions went underway nationwide.
